Winter Scavenger Hunt

Feb 1st - 28th


The Winter Scavenger Hunt is back! Find the hidden beach balls in the following city and county parks in Cokato and Dassel (see photo) in the month of February. Feel free to share photos of some of the fun you had in this D-C Bounce Back Project Facebook post.












 

Luminary Walk

Saturday, Feb 19th, 6-8p


The Luminary Walk will be back at the Cokato golf course! Enjoy the beautiful luminary lined trail and warm up after with a cookie and hot cocoa. Sponsored by the Dassel-Cokato Bounce Back Project. Event is weather permitting and will be rescheduled to the following Saturday if needed. Follow the event on Facebook for updates or changes.


 

Andrew Walesch Presents Great Pop Singers of the 1950s

Come to the Cokato Library to enjoy a show by this talented singer/pianist and a surprise friend perform the likes of Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Nat 'King' Cole, Peggy Lee, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, and more.





 

Local Growers and Producers Presentation

Monday, Feb 21st 7p


The Dassel-Cokato Sustainable Living Group will host this meeting featuring our local growers and producers, within 25 miles of Dassel-Cokato. Growers and producers are invited to share about what they offer, when and where it's available, and, optionally, any sustainable practices they employ. All are welcome to attend. The Case of the Butter Bandits

Opening Saturday, Feb 19th


The opening of Cokato Museum's new escape room has been moved to February 19th, 2022. The Cokato Museum Escape Room is back and “butter” than ever! You and your team of crack detectives will only have 45 minutes to “spread” out and search for clues to solve the mystery of the Butter Bandits. There is no “margarine” for error.


Although the case is based loosely on actual events, no prior knowledge of Cokato’s history is needed to play. The event is free but groups will be required to provide a $20 refundable damage deposit. Groups consist of 4-6 people ranging in ages from 11-adult. Minors will need to be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. Preregistration is required. The Escape Room is open during regular museum hours. Craft Corner at Cokato Library

Thursdays in February, 6-7:30p


Bring your own craft project, and spread out to create while enjoying the company of others. We will supply the space, tables, and craft books, you supply the project and creativity! For teens and adults. Sponsored by the Friends of the Cokato Area Library.

FOCAL Book Club

Tuesday, Feb 22nd 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.


The FOCAL Book Club meets the last Tuesday of the month at the Grounds Coffee Shop at 15256 US-12, Cokato, MN 55321. This month, they will discuss The Secrets of Mary Bowser by Lois Leveen.


This is an open book club, come if you can; the book discussions are always interesting. Check in with the Cokato Public Library for book selection and other details. For adults. Sponsored by Friends of the Cokato Area Library.
