Summer is here and the first phase of the ‘Center of the City’ project is complete. Hopefully, you’ve had a chance to appreciate the work that was done on those streets, they are beautiful! It takes time, money and a lot of patience to upgrade streets to where they need to be, but in the end it is definitely worth the effort. It shows others that we are proud of our city. Now, phase II has just begun. The streets on the east side of the center of the city are being prepared for new construction. It will again take time, money and patience. Please use extra caution as you travel through and around these construction areas.
The residents who live on these streets will face extra challenges this year. Let them know that we appreciate their patience. In about a year, those streets will also be worth the effort!
